CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM Fr. Ananda Maddineni MSFS
The Angel said to the shepherds, “Be not afraid; I bring you good news of great joy for all the people. Today in the city of Bethlehem a savior has been born for you, who is Messiah and Lord” (Lk 2:10-11)
Dear Staff, Parents and Students
I greet you all with Christmas Peace and Joy. I pray that this Christmas bring you God’s abundant blessings upon you and your families. I am happy to join you as your Parish Priest in all our efforts to impart quality Christian Education to all our Children. Fr. Merimier, the Servant of God and the Founder of my Missionary Society, Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales said; “the Heart of the Education is the Education of the Heart”. Let this be our motto and guiding principle in molding and shaping the heart of our young people.
Christmas is the celebration of “God with US” (Emmanuel). God is not a distant reality but “He is present with us, among us”. Jesus Christ born into a Family, the Holy Family of Nazareth. So, Christmas is all about our families. Choosing to be born as an infant, God wants to tell us something about families that we don’t know. Like Mary and Joseph, we need to act as agents of God in nurturing and protecting our family as the “Domestic Church”.
May our Parish and School become that family where we learn and grow as children of God.
