Student Leaders Report
Hi Everyone,
This fortnight has been quite busy for St Augustines, as the Lenten season has started. The school leaders, principal and vice principal went to St Christopher’s for the Ash Wednesday Mass and brought back the ashes from Father Peter. Another big event this week were the school photos on Tuesday, everyone brought big smiles.
St Augustines recently held the first Prep tour for the 2024 future preps.
The grade 5/6s had an incursion focusing on Government this morning, they spoke to us about how anyone can make a law. All classes are starting to prepare for the Athletics carnival on the 27th of March.
Tomorrow selected Yr 5/6 students will be competing against uni park so wish them luck. Last week they played against Holy Eucharist and it was a tough match. Awards are announced on Monday, so come along, everyone is welcome.
