During our Italian lessons, the students have been learning all about “Carnevale”. Carnevale is an exciting, traditional celebration held in Italy 2 weeks before Lent and is famous for the spectacular parades and masks worn.
The students have shown amazing creativity in designing and decorating their own Carnevale masks and were given the opportunity to showcase their masks at our parade. It was great to see and hear the excitement amongst the students as they displayed their masks and saw the many different disguises. ‘VIVA CARNEVALE’.
